All students attending SPSA take online classes through the SD73 @Kool online learning provider.  

Sun Peaks Secondary Academy (SPSA)

SPSA is a multi grade (10-12) classroom that provides a safe, social learning environment for students enrolled in online @Kool classes. Onsite School District 73 @Kool teaching staff and Sun Peaks Education Society teachers/administrator, support students with their assignments and work with students to develop time management skills.  Teaching staff arrange for enrichment activities and experiences to supplement online learning.

Sun Peaks Education Society (SPES)

SPES was founded in 2010 to support community based education.  The volunteer board operates the Sun Peaks Secondary Academy and oversees providing a successful Grades 10-12 program in partnership with SD73 @Kool.   Fundraising for operating costs, staff salaries and student enrichment activities which are not covered by SD73 @Kool, are essential to the SPSA program.  

The SPES is an active partner in fund raising to provide enhanced facilities for educational programs in Sun Peaks.
