Welcome to the Sun Peaks Mountain Academy

The Sun Peaks Mountain Academy (SPMA) is operated by the non-profit Sun Peaks Education Society and offers an innovative blended learning model to students in Grades 10 through 12 in a unique mountain setting.  The SPES values educational excellence, global stewardship and healthy outdoor lifestyles. This community driven educational program offers a public education in a private facility.  School District 73 Kamloops Open Online Learning @KOOL offers the B.C curriculum supported by @Kool teaching staff and the Sun Peaks Education Society’s classroom facilitator teacher(s).

We invite community members to join and support the SPES. Members will receive communications through out the school year and are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting.
